Hickson's duties, and is enabled to accept your offer to act as Crown Solicitor and Queen's Proctor on the half salary received by Mr. Hickson, namely £150 for an annum.
The remainder of Mr. Hickson's duties will be performed by Mr. May where they will receive the other moiety of the salary.
The arrangement will, on receipt of your reply acceptance, be notified in the Government Gazette, and will be reported by the next Mail for approval of Her Majesty's Government.
